Big leaf maple burl bowl 8.75''w x 1.25''h The rim was scorched with a propane torch and then the grooves cut with a 1/16'' parting tool.

Cherry Bowl with Decorated Rim
Grafted cherry bowl. 10.5w x 2''h I was lucky enough to get this entire tree, victim of a strong storm. It was an ornamental grafted cherry tree and it yeilded five blanks like this. A nice find indeed.
